In the beginning of the project visual heritage I missunderstood it and just collected pictures of things that I find visually appealing.
I took a step back an collected other pictures of designs, furniture and typical Swiss things that I was confronted with from an early age on.
Quickly I knew that I want to talk about this obsessive perfectionism Swiss people – me included – have. Starting with the idea of an 3d animation of growing grass that gets cut down after 1mm of growth. Quickly I realised I really don't want to make another 3d rendering. So I was constantly collecting notes, ideas, gathered feedback. I did research on what artistic ways Swiss people used to transmit stories; the papercut. So I implemented the concept of different kind of obsessive perferctionism and translated them in a humorous and layoutwise more modern way.
