With the tool google colab we learned how to train models. Our initial idea was to train a model that recognises a real self portrait or an AI generated cake version of it – but here AI kinda failed and made a cake out of it.

The next tryout was to train the model to recognise if it's a horse or a donkey since we recently had a discussion about it in class.

For the final concept we made a storyline with the models that first start off in a materialistic and consumeristic format, where our model recognizes if a product is “real“ or “fake“, e.g. an Iphone and a Gucci purse. This model will serve a purpose later on in the story within our model, but right now it could already only be used as a product that helps to detect real from fake. After the materialistic objects the story or rather the model continuous with detecting human features and recognizing if they are “natural/real” or “fake”, e.g. teeth and lips. Now drawing a parallel and ending the model with detecting the realness of the human body, we question the importance of it? Why do we feel the urge to know if a Gucci bag is real, or if James from Birmingham went to Istanbul to get his veneers?
